This wee camcorder only measures 43x53x119mm, but packs in some mean features. For starters, it is armed with a 5-megapixel BSI CMOS sensor, which records video clips at twice the sensitivity of normal CMOS sensors - proof that size doesn't matter. The videos you record will be in full high definition at 1080p.

Left-handers will have no reason to feel handicapped or discriminated against anymore with this camcorder's Switch Grip technology, which adapts to left- or right-handed use, so you can record clips from any angle. If you have shaky hands, the Q10's Optical Image Stabilisation Duo system helps capture stable and clear videos despite less-than-steady camera work, will help you keep a firm hand on things.

Samsung's Smart Auto scene recognition technology has also been improved in this model, and now analyses key elements of the footage's composition like brightness, motion, colour and subject, then selects the most appropriate settings to produce the best results.

The HMX-Q10 is also a 4.9-megapixel still photo camera.
