About the size of an average smartphone, this wireless 3G portable router is essentially a WiFi connection in your pocket. With this gadget, you can convert an Internet connection to a WiFi network from a 3G or 3.5G USB modem card, or a cable or xDSL modem. Alternatively, you can also use it to share the 3G connection on some compatible smartphones with an Internet-tethering function, such as the iPhone, and some models from HTC, Blackberry, Nokia and Sony-Ericsson. The 3G-6218n employs green Ethernet technology to minimise power usage and extend battery life, helping it last up to four hours on a single charge.
