Navigate HTC Flyer tablet via both touch and pen

WITH everyone jumping on the tablet bandwagon, it is no surprise that HTC, which pioneered Android mobile phones, would come up with its own Android tablet – the Flyer.

Unlike other Android tablets in the market, the Flyer comes with proprietary HTC features: HTC Sense, the user interface found in HTC phones, and HTC Watch, a new connected video service.

Navigation on the Flyer is via both touch and pen. HTC Scribe technology makes it possible for users to take notes and draw pictures on the tablet.

The Android version on the Flyer is not specified but it is likely to be the latest version.

Hardware-wise, the Flyer has a 7-inch screen and a 1.5GHz processor. Memory is 1GB and internal storage is up to 32GB (MicroSD).

How much: To be launched in Q2.

Price to be announced.
