GOOGLE’S Android 3.0, a tablet operating system also known as Honeycomb (shown above on the upcoming Motorola Xoom tablet), was unveiled recently in California.

The new OS boasts beefed-up graphics for games, and support for app purchases, said PC World. It is expected to boost the popularity of Android tablets, rivalling Apple’s iPad. (PHOTO: AFP)
