Photos confirm talk of white iPhone 4

HOUSTON

THE rumours about Apple’s white iPhone 4 are true.

In North America, photos of shelf space in stores like Best Buy in Houston and in The Source – a Canadian electronics store – have begun cropping up.

The photos show display tags for an “Apple iPhone 4”, said PC Magazine.

According to the magazine, Best Buy’s displays show that a 16GB model will sell for US$599.99 (S$765), while The Source’s asking price is C$159.95 (S$205) for a 16GB model and C$269.95 for a 32GB model.

A Best Buy mobile representative PC Magazine spoke to said he has not heard of any white iPhones in the pipeline.

The white iPhone 4 was first announced in June last year. Apple pushed the launch date to last July, and then to the end of last year, before saying it would release the gadget in spring this year.

According to rumours, the model might hit shelves in the United States and Britain as early as next month.
