Drive and talk safely
Jabra Cruiser Bluetoothwireless speakerphone
I SEE lots of drivers using their mobile phones on the road.
Perhaps it is because there are no law enforcers in sight, or because many find it too cumbersome to use a hands-free headset. What these drivers are doing is dangerous and most irresponsible. They would do well to find another way to make or take that call.
Jabra’s Cruiser Bluetooth wireless speakerphone is an affordable option and a cinch to set up and use. Admittedly, earlier Bluetooth headsets were not perfect and were costly to boot. However, the technology has improved considerably and prices have come down.
All one needs to do with the Cruiser is pair it with a phone (up to two devices can be paired), clip the speaker to the sunvisor and talk. It features voice caller ID, which announces the name of the incoming caller, and has background noiseelimination
technology.
In addition, a built-in FM transmitter allows calls and music from an MP3 player to be heard via the car’s stereo system. Unfortunately, this does not work too well as FM signals tend to be blocked in tunnels or where interference levels are high.
How much: $158
