LASER printers are the workhorse of offices and now homes because the price of such machines and theoperational costs have fallen quite a bit.

These printers are quick and provide sharp printouts. Monochrome printers still rule the roost, notwithstanding the advent of colour laser printers which may be cheap to acquire but costly to operate.
