Prolink is officially launching its touchscreen tablet PC, the Touch Series TW8, at Sitex 2010.

Powered by an Intel Atom N450 1.66GHz processor with 32GB of SSD storage and 1GB of RAM, it has an 11.6-inch capacitive touchscreen display and a 3-axis sensing orientation that allows you to view your screen in landscape or portrait modes.

Running on Windows 7 Home Premium, the tablet comes equipped with the new Bossa Nova user interface, which makes running web applications and social media platforms a breeze. All the commonly used applications such as Facebook, Twitter, Flickr and RSS feeds can be easily accessed. You also get default Windows applications such as Windows Live Messenger, Paint, Calculator and Windows Media Player as well as Microsoft Office 2010 Starter edition.

Weighing 995g and sporting a profile of 14mm, the TW8 is light and handy to carry around. With its built-in WiFi and high-speed 3.75G connectivity, you will able to work on your documents anywhere from the cloud.
