The camera boasts a 12-megapixel, "2/3-inch type" sensor - which is larger than a conventional compact camera sensor but smaller than those found in DSLRs - and uses the company's proprietary EXR technology to get sharper images. A high-definition F2.0 wide-angle and f/2.8 telephoto FUJINON 4x manual zoom lens accompanies the X10 so you can get as close to the subject as possible or take pictures from afar.
This highly advanced compact camera allows users to enjoy the simple pleasures of photography as it removes the technical worries and lets you focus on the subject.
If you're given to experimenting with your shots, the X10 offers up to eight settings on its Film Simulation modes. These include Velvia, PROVIA, ASTIA, all of which allows the user to reproduce the well-known tones of highly popular colour reversal films. Additionally, the ISO goes up to 12800, giving room for top picture quality even with minimal light.
For the aesthetically driven, the X10's sleek old school design - manufactured from lightweight, yet ultra strong, die-cast magnesium alloy - has inherited the look and feel of the Fujifilm X100.
Overall, the Fujifilm X10 is a great choice if you want to turn heads while shooting heads. Ryhan Yazid
Available at all leading electronic stores, the Fujifilm X10 retails for S$999.
